Join us for a fully hands-on Sourdough Baking Workshop. We'll meet online, but the sourdough is oh so real! We've partnered with Sourdough Nashville to help you get to baking success quickly. The workshop provides you with a recipe, the science, and the tactile experience you need to consistently bake good loaf after good loaf.
Before the workshop, on Friday 1/29, we will deliver starter and the ingredients you need to bake. During the workshop, Sourdough Nashville will cover all the stages of sourdough baking over several virtual sessions within a 24-hour period. We'll begin Friday evening with an intro and a few key steps, then continue into the day Saturday and you'll have fresh bread by dinner time. At the end of the workshop you'll have starter, two loaves of bread, a recipe, and so much sourdough knowledge setting you up to continue baking on your own.

The mix will include a variation of styles and textures, and the sizing will either be whole wheels of small format cheeses or generous wedges for cut wheels. There are two sizes available and everything will be labeled by the monger herself. An important message from The Bloomy Rind:

We are based in Citizen Kitchens, which is not open to the general public. The cheese is only handled by cheesemonger Kathleen with gloved hands on sanitized surfaces that are used only by us. We will package your order in a to go box or bag, so delivery folks are only handling the container, not any of the individual cheeses. Your health and safety is our #1 concern - now and always.
